Presumptiveness

Before we start trying to understand our Creator’s book, we need to be cautious of any existing preconceptions we have, and to humble ourselves before a being that is obviously more intelligent and powerful than we can really comprehend.

For instance, the current understanding of our universe is that it started out with 11 dimensions, of which 7 dimensions have collapsed, leaving width, depth, height, and time.18  A rational assumption is that our Creator has at least as many dimensions as what He has created.

Now picture a 3 dimensional spatial universe in which 2 dimensional people called “Flats” live.  We 3 dimensional beings, could observe the Flats in total, even without being seen by them.  We could pop in and out of Flatland, that from their perspective, would be appearing and disappearing out of nowhere.  Imagine how powerful and mysterious we would be to the Flats.  Just think how much more so a 11+ dimensional being is to us, one who may have one or more additional dimensions of space and time plus other unknown dimensions.

Given our universe has 7 collapsed dimensions, and our Creator is working with 11+ dimensions, the concept of an afterlife with a spirit dimension(s), should start to sound plausible.  A fact that adds to this plausibility is that the Zero Point Energy of empty space is orders of magnitude greater than the E=MC2 energy density of normal matter.19

To proceed much further, we need to point out some key aspects from our Creator’s book so His overall plan will start to make rational sense:

bullet

Our Creator is good; so good in fact, that He is perfect.  He demonstrates His goodness to us like a father through love, faithfulness, discipline, and justice.

bullet

There is an afterlife that all of us will go to.  Based on His criteria, some will go to Heaven, the rest will go to Hell.

Everyone wrestles with implications from these aspects, so let’s deal right away with the big elephant that is in the room with us named Fairness ..................

Fairness
