The Lord's Prayer


The Lord's Prayer from Matthew 6 teaches us much about how to pray:

bulletYou have accepted His Son as Your Savior.
bulletHallowed be Your name
bulletYou praise His character.
bulletYour Kingdom come
bulletYou commit to be part of its development.
bulletYour will be done
bulletYou surrender your agenda.
bulletOn earth as it is in Heaven
bulletYou proclaim His salvation to the world.
bulletGive us this day our daily bread
bulletYou accept all things from His hand.
bulletForgive us our trespasses
bulletYou resolves conflicts quickly.
bulletLead us not into temptation
bulletYou desire integrity in your own life.
bulletDeliver us from evil
bulletYou put on the whole armor of God, (Ephesians 6:11).
bulletYours is the Kingdom
bulletYou submit to God's right over your life.
bulletYours is the power
bulletYou rely on God's strength.
bulletYours is the glory
bulletYou reflect praise to Him.
bulletForever
bulletYou look forward to an eternity in His presence.
